Since 2019, AD&V® has been committed to the UN Global Compact and formed part of the SDG Ambition Accelerator initiative, challenging ourselves to set ambitious corporate sustainability targets and accelerate the integration of the SDGs into our core business management.

We were recognized for establishing important alliances with the United Nations reiterating their commitment to the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) to promote gender equality, and our commitment to the initiative of corporate social responsibility of the United Nations Global Compact and its principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment, and the fight against corruption.

Our data-driven approach helps us quantify how we’re measuring against our big, audacious goal: By 2030, we aim to directly impact 65,000 individuals and indirectly impact 6 million individuals through our projects.

UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT NETWORK USA AWARDS AD&V® CO-FOUNDER AS A USA 2023 SDG PIONEER

AD&V® Co-Founder Cristina Villalón was recognized by the UN Global Compact Network USA as a local 2023 SDG Pioneer winner in the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises category!

Cristina was recognized for championing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and inspiring others to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. As a 2023 USA SDG Pioneer, she was chosen from a network of more than 1,000 entities from across the US.

The US Ambassador to the United Nations for Management and Reform, Christopher Lu, presented the award to Cristina at the 2023 SDG Summit USA event.

Her achievements in embedding the SDGs in her day-to-day work reimagines the potential of business in creating enduring positive change within their environments.

OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING DIRECTOR WAS RECOGNIZED AS A 2022 SDG PIONEER FINALIST BY THE UNGC

AD&V's Business Development & Marketing Director receiving UN's SDG Pioneer Finalist Award.

Our Business Development and Marketing Director, Carla Joan González Vizcarrondo, was recognized as an SDG Pioneer finalist for her commitment & leadership in advancing the Global Goals for Sustainable Development through the implementation of the United Nations Global Compact’s Ten Principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

This is a celebration of years of hard work. Carla introduced new and innovative ideas to help drive AD&V®’s sustainability journey forward and showed that even small and medium businesses can play a huge part in creating a sustainable and better future for all. Carla was recognized along with Repligen, Microsoft, and PepsiCo, empowering AD&V® and other SMEs to believe in the unique perspectives they can bring to the table.
