Biophilic design provides simple and accessible solutions that promote physical health and wellness. Our Office Headquarters were designed with biophilic design elements such as  green walls that filter air, shelving and planters for natural plants, wallpapers that resemble the natural environment and lots of natural lighting, in order to provide the AD&V Team with a healthy work environment.

One of the many perks of our AD&V Office Headquarters are the views! Our office has large floor to ceiling windows that permit our Team to enjoy the day’s view of the Puerto Rico Convention Center and its surrounding areas.

Outdoor and nature views have been proven to reduce stress and boost productivity. Our panoramic views help improve our team’s wellbeing while they work.

5. COLLABORATIVE & FLEXIBLE SPACES

The office has flexible spaces and work areas that improve and encourage the AD&V Team’s collaboration and productivity.

Multiple conference rooms, a large comfortable lounge area, workspace high tables in the studio, Pin-Up rooms, a meditation room and sound-proof phone booths for virtual meetings or personal phone calls are just some of the flexible spaces we’ve designed for the Team to meet, discuss projects or have brainstorming sessions.

6. ERGONOMIC FURNITURE

Our office has ergonomic furniture including   standing desks, comfortable office chairs, and dynamic ottomans that support the AD&V Team’s function and comfort. More importantly, our ergonomic furniture helps the Team reduce the risk of muscular problems, improve their posture, and keep them focused.

7. ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN LIBRARIES TO FOSTER LEARNING

At AD&V we have an architecture and interior design library full of available resources for the Team to learn from and work with. The architecture library is filled with  architecture and design books our Team can use to access information about art, history, architecture, design and related topics. The interior design library is sourced with materials and samples that the Team specifies when working on projects and designs.

We offer the Team regular leadership workshops, industry lunch and learns, resources, coaching and mentoring opportunities as well as an annual budget to be used for training and/or professional development.

At AD&V, 75 percent of leadership positions are held by women. We are committed to continue to support women in our industry to achieve gender equality, both at work and in our communities.

We were recognized for establishing important alliances with the United Nations reiterating their commitment to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) to promote gender equality, and our commitment to the initiative of corporate social responsibility of the United Nations Global Compact and its principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment, and the fight against corruption.

Our social impact is not limited to what can be done through design. We like to get out of the office, create initiatives, and participate in activities that contribute to the greater good.

We have participated in community initiatives such as beach cleanups, tree plantings and trash challenges. We have initiated public education and awareness campaigns in our effort to positively impact the planet. We lead by example and hope our collective actions inspire others to do the same.

12. CENTRIC LOCATION

Another perk of working at AD&V is the office’s location. The office is located across from the Sheraton Hotel, the Puerto Rico Convention Center, and the Distrito T-Mobile. The area gives the AD&V Team access to nearby restaurants, event venues and the hotel’s shared amenities. These additional benefits are part of our efforts to encourage our Team to maintain a good work-life balance.
